Well, thats the flat sorted out (well it will be soon) and just waiting for Phone line and internet now.

You can catch me at The Village Inn, Torrance on Sunday from 4:30pm and then at the Peppermint Lounge on the 28th January.

We have been calling in to a lot of places around and about and hope to be able to announce some more venues very soon.

In the meantime if you would like to see perform at your favourite venue, ask them to get in touch with me or let me know and I will get in touch to see if we can sort something out!

What a month it has been so far, lovin’ it!

Our gig at The Bay Horse Pub has been changed to the 20th (from the 21st) because of the football – I hope this doesn’t cause any problems for anyone getting there.

We have also signed up for the South Shields Dip on Boxing day to raise money for Cancer Research – more details of this to follow soon.

Best Male Singer 2011

Hey everyone,

Yeah its true “Simply Mo” is heading to the UK from the 1st of December 2011!

After 8 1/2 years in Tenerife, me and Claire are moving to Glasgow and setting up camp (via South Shields with Ray Wilde and James Darling for a few Christmas decade shows).  Really looking forward to it as I’ve never played the UK before, bit nervous but I have a good feeling.

Best Male Singer 2011

As a lot of you will know Sunday afternoon saw the final of the Tenerife Entertainment Awards being held at Castillo San Miguel and Simply Mo was up for the Best Male Singer award along with some very strong competition.

The whole show was brilliant and we have to say thanks to the organisors of the event, there were loads of people crammed into the venue, yet the atmosphere was superb.

It was brilliant to catch up with so many great people in one place, but I guess the best part of the afternoon for Simply Mo was when he was announced as the Best Male Singer for 2011 … Wow!  Can you believe it, Simply Mo was almost speechless!

The full list of winners was Best Tribute: Kracka (Status Quo), Best Band: Soundchaser, Best Compere: Mike Carlton, Best Club DJ: Lee Jackson (Branigans), Best Male Singer: Simply Mo, Best Female Singer: Sally Ann, Best Newcomer: Pip Brown, Best Variety Act: Mister Sister, Best Group: IS & Mikey Mike and for Outstanding Contribution: Mike Carlton – Well done to each and everyone!

Thank you to everyone who nominated Simply Mo and then went on to vote for him too, it really is appreciated.  Special thanks also to everyone at Restaurante Margarita in Los Cristianos, staff and customers, we know the support that you have provided during the last few months.

just to let you all know that you only have until Sunday the 18th of September to vote for me as best male vocalist in the Tenerife Entertainment Awards 2011. This is the first ever award that I have been nominated for and it would mean the world to me Thank you to everyone that has already voted aswell. The ceremony will be held on the 25th or September 2011, so i will keep you all posted on the results. Its gunna be a tough one this year, got some good competition…

I’m loving my job in Restaurante Margarita at the moment aswell, we’ve had a few really good nights down there recently. If you’re over in Tenerife and want to find me or the restaurant ( you’ll probably find both though lol) get to Los Cristianos near the Tenerife Sur hotel. Look for the one with the huge stone BBQ on the terrace.
